Ballethnic Parents Organization (BPO)
Mission Statement
The Ballethnic Parent Organization exists to support the mission of the Ballethnic Academy of Dance and the Ballethnic Dance Company and to help them flourish in their commitment to excellence in the art of dance through resource development, effective communication, strategic planning, marketing & promotion while working closing with the Ballethnic Administration to keep pace with the dynamic needs of the growing organization.
The purpose of the Ballethnic Parent Organization is to support student participation in the Ballethnic Academy of Dance. Through these efforts, we also help promote the overall success of Ballethnic Dance Company, Inc.
Our primary efforts are directed at organizing communication and activities that will enhance each student’s participation in their classes, academy-related experiences, and overall instructional environment.
Parental involvement in these efforts is executed primarily through committees or chair-approved special projects as the need arises. The parent group proactively solicits the involvement of all parents to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to share their ideas, skills, and talents, and to especially make the new parents feel welcomed. The success of this organization and its efforts depends not just on leadership, but on the level of active involvement, as well as the variety of talents and ideas that participants bring to the group.
Parent Organization business meetings are scheduled every month from September through May. Committee meetings occur as planned and announced.
