BYE

On October 19, 2025, our BYE students lit up the streets of Little Five Points with a memorable performance during the parade. They presented a carefully crafted adaptation of Michael Jackson’s Thriller, reimagined for our school community while honoring the spirit of the original. From the first beat to the final pose, the students stayed in character, bringing eerie charm and playful energy to the crowd. 

Together they delivered tight, synchronized moves, bold stage makeup, and inventive costumes that transformed the parade route into a moving show. BYE didn’t just perform; they invited the audience to engage, guiding spectators to clap along, which amplified the thrill of the moment for everyone involved. 

The effort behind the performance—Ms. Laila put together a quick rehearsal, a collaboration of teacher and student working together, and mutual support, which was evident in every moment on the street. The students demonstrated confidence, creativity, and resilience, turning a public event into a celebration of art, collaboration, and community.
